Matt and Rachael
When I found out that Matt and Rachael were best friends with my friends in the band Unhindered... I knew this Fall Atlanta wedding was going to be Non-Stop Fun... and it was.
interesting note:
we ate dinner the night before at the ORIGINAL Chick Fil-A.
And now i know why they don't serve burgers at the rest of their chain...

Jason and Abby Forest
Love prevails on Hatteras Island in the middle of hurricanes. We all got stuck on the island the day after Jason and Abby's wedding took place. These two are living out their honeymoon all winter as snowboard instructors in a small town at the bottom of a huge mountain in Montana. I wish my friends the best! I am coming to visit soon!

John & Katie
In a quaint little town called Pitman just outside of Phili, I found out that those Eisenhart girls sure know how to party!

so, this weekend i flew home via Charlotte...
and then drove and hour south to Hatteras to shoot my friends' (Jason and Abby) wedding. This was the sunset on the drive.
the calm before the storm
the hurricane hit full force during the wedding,
so no power from before the ceremony till half way through the reception.
on the way back, i got locked in on the island because of there was 4 feet of sand in the road...
This car was sitting in the middle of the road.
not to mention the ocean that was going across the whole island from time to time.
of course my wife was stuck at the airport because i couldn't leave the island. Thankfully, my dad was able to eventually pick her up and bring her back to my parents house.
One good thing about it was that i got to spend some quality time with my rad little sis esther.
Later that night, they eventually cleared the roads and i was able to drive back through a foot of sitting water back up to kitty hawk.
the next day was a sunny beautiful day spent with family and I caught some waves that tammy was able to grab a few shots of.
